Ondřej Smeykal - the australian didgeridoo player is opening unusual music event together with Pavel Plánka/ percussion
The main theme is sounding glass – these original music instruments and modern objects are designed by artist Bořek Šípek.
These didgeridoos were stepwise designed for exhibitions in New York, Milano and Prague. Today there is original collection of glass didgeridoos and percussions which were made in 2010-2012. The designer Bořek Šípek was cooperating with Smeykal, Plánka and Japanese instrumentalist Yas-Kaz.
The collection amazes with its processing and aura of Bohemian glass under the direction of world-famous designer. It offers wide armamentarium fully beyond all categories for musicians and experiment lovers. Ondřej Smeykal is talking about the origin of instruments : „Bořek took challenge, to create crystal didgeridoo for me..and he held with his generosity whole collection. I am still riveted by this project, it is full of incredible creative potential.“
